Resolutions....
With the new year, I like almost all Americans have made resolutions... I don't want to change who I am. So therefore my resolutions will be to better myself.
A few that I have are to create as many memories with my family that I can. Even if they are the tiniest of memories I want to make them.
Be more healthy. Yes that means cutting back on the sweets and soda, but I am human and I do enjoy food. It makes me happy. I come from a family who makes delicious Mexican food, why would I cut myself off from that?? Not to mention I do enjoy a cold, crisp Diet Coke with limes as well :)
Stop swearing: Let's be honest... I'm my father's daughter... cursing is just part of the language I speak.... But cutting back, I'm definitely trying to do that.
Making it on time for church: Church is at 9, I'm not a morning person. Do I really need to defend this??
Have family prayer & scripture study more regularly: Byron and I decided we need this. We've gotten better on praying but we struggle with family scripture study. If anyone has any advice, pass it along!!
Our biggest resolution: Go through the temple by May. I want my family to be an eternal family. I don't think I could ever imagine my life without these two. I want to be with them for eternity. This has been a major goal for Byron and I. When we talked about this when we were first married we were so close to it living in Wyoming. Then we moved back to St. George and it got really hard for me to even want to go to church because of how our ward was towards us. We started going back to our old ward up in Winchester, the one we both grew up in. It made me feel the way I did when we were in Wyoming. We serve our calling faithfully and love every minute of it. We feel we are more ready than ever to go through the temple. I have so much faith in us.
Here's to us and making 2013 even better than 2012 was!!!
Good luck to you and your resolutions!!!

7 Months Old
Ryker Wayne is 7 months old now!! He is such a ham! He loves getting into everything. He thinks he's helping cleaning up but really he is making a bigger mess for mom to clean up! He likes to think he's ready to walk. He'll stand up to the couch or table and just let go and think he can walk. He growls at everyone and everything! He licks everything too! Including Pugsley! He says Momma when he needs something or if he's hurt, other than that he says Dada! He loves going to Grandma & Grandpa's house. He loves playing with his aunts & uncles and he loves to give kisses! He is so much fun and he makes our family whole! I couldn't imagine my life without him in it!! Momma loves you Ryk!!
(not so) HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!
We were looking forward to New Years this year... Unfortunately we went up to Salt Lake the Friday after Christmas and I got the flu while we were up there. Then once we got home Ryker got Influenza Type B, Bronchitis and a double ear infection! So needless to say we rang in the new year highly medicaid-ed and asleep in my bed. Luckily Byron didn't get sick. I'm grateful for that man. He took such great care of Ryker and I while we were dying (or so I thought) We hope everyone had a great New Years!
Christmas 2012
Santa was extremely good to the Reeves family this year! We spent Christmas Eve with Byron's family and had an ugly sweater party the Sunday before Christmas. It was a lot of fun and everyone's sweaters were hideous!! Christmas Day we spent it with my family. Ryker got spoiled from everyone. He loved opening presents. He could have cared less about what he got verses playing with the wrapping paper and gift bags. I can't wait till next year when he knows more about what's going on. This years Christmas was special for us because it was our first Christmas as a family! It was awesome!
