Oh it's only been 8 months since a post......

We have had the craziest, funnest and most memorable last few months. Let me catch you up...... We moved out of our very spacious 6 bedroom house by the college to a very... cozy... 2 bedroom condominium at the end of April. I was relieved we were able to find something so soon before I had the baby. It's nice. It reminds me of our first home in Wyoming. I don't really care for the neighborhood except for the fact that it's down the street from my grandparents. We got everything moved in and unpacked within a weeks time. The further I got in my pregnancy it seemed like time was slowing down and that my baby boy was NEVER going to come!! I was on my feet 24/7, I was walking constantly and nothing was happening! My feet didn't even swell! I was going to the Doctor every week and she never had any new news about if I was progressing at all. It sucked!! I went to the Doctor on May 31, the day before my due date, and of course Dr. Winward had no news except for the fact that she was going to Hawaii for a week and that if nothing happened while she was away she would then induce me when she got back.. GREAT! My due date came and went. It was very disappointing to know/expect something to arrive but it doesn't and you've waited 9+ months for it. I knew though as soon as my Dr. left I would deliver. I thought for sure Ryker wasn't going to come till later because the dr moved my due date to the 11th. Byron and I went to the movies with my mom, Kolin and Kylee to see The Avengers. I had already seen it once and loved it, so we went with them. As soon as the movie started that's when the contractions started!! Did I say anything to anyone? No. I was not going to miss the movie! Every time I woke up in the night to go to the bathroom I would be having a contraction from the moment I woke till the moment I laid back down. I finally told Byron that I had been having contractions all night the following morning. Him kind of joking, kind of not said "That's because you're going to go into labor today!!" and then he left for work. I called my mom while I was laying in bed and just told her what was kind of going on. And then when my contraction started.... my water broke.......

32 Weeks and Counting...

I swear I have no Idea how big I really am till I take a belly picture!! Here he is, 8 weeks to go! I don't know how I'm feeling right about now with this whole labor and delivery thing... I want to have control of my body again, but.. the whole "Having" the baby is kinda freakin me out!! Oh well... We'll just see how it goes!!!

I have now starting getting little swollen feet after a long day of work. I'm still down 4 lbs. hope Dr. Winward isn't mad and my appt. on Tuesday. As far as the babe goes, he's active ALL day long, which I love!! It finally dawned on Byron that this little boy is coming whether we like it or not! Hope he's ready!!!

We are now in the 3rd Trimester!!!

My pregnancy has really flown by! I am now into my 3rd and final trimester with this little boy. I'm also feeling very large and in charge, if ya catch my drift!! I personally haven't really noticed how my baby bump has turned into a hump! But I have heard it has really rounded out in the last couple weeks. At my last Dr appointment, he had caught up on his growth and was actually measuring 3 days bigger as well! So I'm hoping his due date still stays in June. But, we shall see....

Ryker's 3D Ultrasound....

I recently had 3D ultrasounds done so we could see what Ryker is starting to look like... He's got his mom's chubby cheeks and nose so far... According to the lady he also is going to have a lot of hair... I can't wait to see his little face in person!! Come on June!!

26 Week Update!!

Here is my sweet boys face! The Dr. was finally able to get a descent picture of him! I am going to be getting a bunch of 3D images done in the next 2 weeks, so we will see what he looks like as a little person!! Eeek!! I'm so excited!



Here I am in all my glory of being large and in charge! This is actually me at 24 weeks, I haven't changed drastically in the last 2 weeks so this picture will do! I am the host of one very active little boy. Now that he's getting bigger and running outta room he moves 24/7! His latest thing is I play music for him with my iPad and headphones, he's become very fond of Queen! He really starts movin around in there when they play!

LOTS OF CHANGES IN A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME....

I don't know why I thought that once we moved back to St. George our lives might, just might slow down a little bit. But they haven't. When we moved into our house last year in February I thought for sure we would be living in it a lot longer than a year. Boy was I wrong! We've been having lots of problems with maintenance at this house, and it's just become too expensive for us. So we made the decision that with the way the real estate world is right now, it would be the best for us to buy a home...

So here we are... both working all the time, Byron's still going to school full time, me being 6 months pregnant and moving... We are still in the process of getting all the paperwork started so we can buy a home. There are so many nice homes on the foreclosure list that would fit our growing family perfectly and as unbelievable as it sounds, our mortgage would be cheaper than my rent...

We've got our fingers and toes crossed that this process goes rather quickly. It'll be nice once we have a place that is actually OURS, that way I know things will get taken care of and I won't have to worry about moving all our stuff again for a long time... Wish us luck!!
